GEM Dust Mold Inhibitors

Tractor silaging a field

Mold can wreak havoc on your hay. That mold growth produces heat, carbon dioxide and water, which damages your hay. Moldy hay can then lead to nutrient loss and produce dust. To protect the quality and nutrient value of your alfalfa and timothy hay, your farm can use GEM Dust, our mold growth inhibitor and preferred forage additive.

GEM Dust is designed to help reduce mold population in a mixture of alfalfa and timothy hay bale at 18-25% moisture.
