Hans & Monda Eggink

Hans & Monda have been part of the Canadian farming industry for over 40 years. After dairy farming for 27 years, they decided to change career paths. Hans filled various consulting roles in the dairy industry, and Monda stayed busy at the local vegetable warehouse and being a grandma. In 2021, they were presented with an opportunity to acquire GEM Ag Products Corp., and in February 2022, the purchase was complete. Together they continue to support and grow the GEM Silage Product brand for Canadian producers and provide the personal service which Gem Silage is known.

Hans and Monda like to spend their time off outdoors with their children and grandchildren.

Born and raised in Wakaw, SK, Ralph spent several years selling Case tractors before starting GEM Silage Products in March 1994. After 28 years of owning, operating, and expanding his successful company, Ralph made the decision to sell. Hans and Monda Eggink bought GEM Silage Products in February 2022. Ralph has stayed on as Sales Manager. Elsie worked for several years as an admin assistant and, although retired, still enjoys coming in to cover a shift every now and then.

She started working at GEM Silage Products in 2017 and is still answering phones and questions for our customers as well as her many other duties as Office Manager. Lori can be found camping or enjoying her many animals and hobbies when not at work.
